It is amazing how many individuals from North Carolina will go into a work place without having the proper information on hand. They will walk into an employer's office and begin to fill out an application without going through resume NC. This is why Laurie Gronlund Mortenson will come to their aide whenever she is available. At times this can be a real task for these people if they have little or no work experience.

People who do not have an e-mail account can get one for no charge over the internet.

She will make sure that they will also include some kind of objective upon these writings. An objective simply states what a future employee expects to gain within a five to ten year period. Too many people will say the wrong information on their objective statements and this will eliminate them from the interview process.

The same statement can also be said for people who have finished a university or technical school. When they are trying to get a position at the local grocery store there is no need to bring up their college information. In many southern states there are so many supervisors working in retail that do not have a college education.

These people are more than likely to move on to bigger and better things and the potential employer knows this for a fact. They become quite leery and suspicious of a person with a Master's Degree who would like to apply for a simple clerical job. It is always better to hold off on this information for future job opportunities that will become available.

Laurie Gronlund Mortenson feels quite bad for the clients who only have experience flipping burgers. People who have worked in the quick food industry all of their lives really cannot get ahead in the business world unless they attend a technical school for career training.

It also helps a great deal when people are willing to list all of their computer and technical skills. These should always be written down upon the document that is presented to any future employer. People who possess computer skills will always be on top of an employer's hiring list.

Laurie Gronlund Mortenson likes to tell her clients how important it is to have the correct references. Unfortunately many individuals will list people that will say bad thing about them. To avoid this from happening she tells them to never list references on this document.
